Meat Balls
1 to 1-1/2 lbs Lean Ground LONGHORN Beef
1 Large Egg
1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1/2 Cup Bread or Cracker Crumbs
1/2 Onion (chopped fine)
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Dijon Mustard
2 tsp Worchester Sauce
1 tsp Paprika

2 tsp Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Ketchup

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. 2. Combine Meat Ball ingredients in large mixing bowl and mix thoroughly with hands.
3. Form into 1 to 1-1/2 inch balls and place on baking sheet. 
4. Mix ketchup and brown sugar and brush on meat balls. 5. Bake until lightly brown and cooked through. About 15 minutes.


Cheeseburger and Shoestring Soup

1 lb Lean Ground LONGHORN Beef
1 Large Onion Chopped
1 Cup Matchstick Carrots
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Pepper
2 tsp Butter
2 tsp All Purpose Flour 1 14oz Can Chicken Broth
8 Slices American Cheese
2 tsp Ketchup
1 tsp Mustard
1-1/2 Cups Milk
Chopped Dill Pickles or Dill Relish
Canned Shoestring Potatoes

Combine meet, onion, carrots, sale and pepper and cook until meat is done and chopped. 2. Melt butter in sauce pan until sizzling hot and stir in flour. 3. Add milk and broth; cook over medium heat stirring constantly until comes to a boil. 4. Reduce heat to low and stir in cheese until melted. 5. Add ground beef mixture, ketchup and mustard. 6. Continue cooking until heated through. 7. Served topped with pickles (relish) and shoestrings!



1 - 1/2 lbs Lean LONGHORN Ground Beef
2 tsp Vegetable Oil
1 28 oz can Diced or Crushed Tomatoes
2 6 oz cans Tomato Paste
2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Italian Seasoning
1/4 tsp Black Pepper
1/4 tsp Crushed Red Pepper
1/8 tsp Garlic Powder
8 oz pack Lasagna Noodles
1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
1 cup Ricotta or Small Curd Cottage Cheese
3 to 4 slices Mozzarella Cheese (optional for topping)

1. Brown ground beef in oil and drain pan.  
2. Stir in tomatoes, paste and seasonings. Reduce heat 
and simmer for 40 minutes.
3. Cook noodles according to package directions.
4. Place 1/2 of noodles in a lightly greased 12x8x2 baking dish.
(Overlap noodles length-wise on edges.)
5. Spoon 1/3 of meat over noodles and 1/2 shredded cheeses.
6. Repeat layers.
7. Arrange sliced Mozzarella on top if desired. 
8. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

Beef Stroganoff

1-1/2 lbs Lean LONGHORN Ground Beef
16 oz Medium Egg Noodles
16 oz Sour Cream
2 cans Cream of Mushroom Soup
1 Medium Chopped Onion
Add black pepper and Parsley to Taste

1. Boil noodles until tender and drain.
2. Brown ground beef and drain.
3. Mix all ingredients together and pour into
4. 9x10 bakind dish. 
5. Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes.

Rotini with Tomato Cream Sauce

1 lb Lean LONGHORN Ground Beef
1 Medium Onion Chopped
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Italian Seasoning
Salt/Pepper to Taste
2 cups Beef Stock
1 14oz Can Fire Roasted Tomatoes
2 cups Uncooked Spiral Pasta
1 cup Frozen Peas
1 cup Heavy Cream
1/2 cup Grated Parmesan

1. Brown ground beef and onion. Drain.
2. Add seasonings and cook another minute.
3. Add stock and tomatoes and bring to a boil.
4. Add pasta and peas; reduce heat and simmer
10-12 minutes.
5. Gradually add cream and cheese.
6. Serve when pasta is soft.

Cabbage and Beef Soup

1-1/2 lbs Lean LONGHORN Ground Beef
1 Large Head of Cabbage
4 Large Carrots
6 Spears of Celery
1 Medium Onion
8 cups Beef Broth
1 tsp Butter
Italian Seasoning to Taste
Black Pepper to Taste
Onion Powder to Taste
Garlic Powder to Taste

1. Chop onion and cook in butter until clear.
2. Add ground beef and brown.
3. Pour broth in a pot and bring to a boil.
4. Chop cabbage and add all remaining 
ingredients and bring to a boil.  
5. Reduce heat and let cook until everything
is soft. 
6. Add ground beef and seasonings and let
simmer for about 10 minutes. 

Egg Roll in a Bowl

1 lb Lean LONGHORN Ground Beef
1 bag or head Shredded Cabbage
1/2 cup Beef Broth
1 tsp Minced Garlic
Fresh Ginger, grated
1/4 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Pepper
3 tsp Soy Sauce
(optional) Sesame Seeds to garnish

1.  Brown Ground Beef.
2. Season will all seasonings as it browns. 
(Drain if necessary.)
3. Add in the broth, then the cabbage on top. 
4. DO NOT STIR.  Just cover with lid. 
5. Reduce heat and cook until cabbage is soft.
6. Serve with soy sauce and sesame seeds.

Ground Beef Meat Pie

1 lb Lean LONGHORN Ground Beef
1/2 Stick Butter
1 Onion (Finely Chopped)
2 tsp Minced Garlic
1 tsp Dried Parsley
2 medium Potatoes (Grated)
2 lg Carrots (Grated)
1 tsp Worchester Sauce
1 tsp Soy Sauce
2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Pepper
1/2 cup Panko Bread Crumbs
2 9" Pie Crust Dough
1 Egg


1. Heat Butter in a large pan over medium heat.
2. Add onions, garlic, parsley and ground beef.
3. Stir well with a spatula and cook 5-6 minutes 
until meat browns.
4. Add in potatoes, carrots, worchester and soy 
sauces, salt and pepper.  Stir well to cook evenly
for another 2-3 minutes. 
5. Stir in breadcrumbs until fully combined.  
6. Remove from heat and let cool for one hour. 
7. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. 
8. Place one 9" pie crust dough in bottom of pie pan
and press down to form into pan. 
9. Spoon meat mixture into the pie crust.
10. Place second 9" pie crust on top pinching edges
together to seal.  Cut 6 slits in the top. 
11. Brush egg on top. 
12. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
13. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake another 40 min.
14. Let cool 10 minutes before serving. 

4 Bean Chili

1-1/2 lb lean Longhorn Ground Beef
1 small Onion chopped fine
1 can Black Beans
1 can Chili Beans
1 can Red Beans
1 can Kidney Beans
(Do not drain beans.)
2 14 oz can Fire Roasted Diced Tomatoes
French's Chili-O Seasoning (to taste)
Cayenne Pepper Powder (to taste)

Brown ground beef until done and add onion.  Cook until onion is clear. 
Add in beans, tomatoes, and seasonings and simmer for 1 hour.  Stir 

Serve and top with favorites:  Fritos, grated cheddar cheese, sour cream,
hot sauce, etc.
